A red tag from the gas utility means a hazard was found and service will stay off until it is corrected. We start by testing the system to confirm where the problem is, whether that is a leaking fitting in the attic, a corroded line in the yard, a failed valve at the water heater, or an appliance connector that has cracked. We explain the repair in plain terms, give you an upfront price, and pressure-test the system when we are done so the utility can turn service back on. Older homes often have gas piping and connectors that no longer meet current standards, and we can point those out before they become a problem. Earthquake shutoff valves and excess flow valves add another layer of protection. All repairs carry our 3-year warranty.
